It may was the simplicity of it, the fact that I related in a completely new level with the main protagonist, or the fact that I felt like I’ve been reading about me own life approximately seven years ago, but from the very first few pages of this novel, something felt wide awake inside my chest there was a spark, a warmth, a familiar feeling. So, it came as a surprise when I decided to actually give a chance to Fangirl, written by Rainbow Rowell, and I fell absolutely and completely in love with it! My moto is: “I’m reading fantasy so I can endure reality!” and it’s been working pretty well for the past few years. You’ve probably figured out that I’m not a huge fan of contemporary novels.
